Steven Slater, Jet Blue Flight Attendant



NEW YORK - A JetBlue flight attendant dispute with a passenger jet is at the John F. Kennedy International Airport on Monday condemned the passengers who took a beer from the kitchen and then distributed the emergency exit slides and the plane to escape, authorities said.

Steven Slater flight attendant was threaten at a house near the Belle Harbor section of Queens by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police arrested on charges of criminal crime, recklessly and against limits.

Steven Slater, 39, remained in custody Monday night. His lawyer was listed the name is not immediately available and no home phone number for them. A woman who has the phone in the residence for Slater in Thousand Oaks replied, California, listed identified themselves as his mother, but said he does not speak to the media.

JetBlue Airways Corp. said in a statement that the person with the Federal Aviation Administration and Port Authority police worked together to investigate this problem. He said the safety of customers and crew members never in danger.

Slater's work on JetBlue flight from Pittsburgh in 1052, when he fight with a passenger who withdrew from the overhead luggage compartment, said the Port Authority. suitcase was apparently attacked the officer in the head and he apologized, but refused the passenger, said the agency.

When the plane landed, Slater got on the PA system and swore at passengers, said the Port Authority. He then attacked at least one beer, turned on a slide, slipped and went to his car, he said.

Port Authority police were told about 25 minutes later.

JetBlue will not say how long Slater was hired by the company.
